Description

The album «From Ukrainian Antiquity» was first published in 1900 and forever became a classic of Ukrainian studies. The book contains 20 historical essays by D.I. Yavornytskyi, illustrated by prominent Ukrainian artists — S.I. Vasylkivskyi and M.S. Samokysh. The album was republished in a new Ukrainian translation and had two prefaces and notes. Illustrations are reproduced from the original edition and presented together with enlarged fragments.
