Description

„In the Name of the City“ is a project of Kharkiv Literary Museum that combines visual art, architecture, literature, cinema, and more. This publication is one of its parts.

In Kostiantyn Zorkin‘s graphic novel, the frontline city of Kharkiv becomes a ship stuck near enemy shores. Its crew consists of metaphorical characters representing different aspects of the city‘s identity. Each of them is based on a real person, artists who took part in the creation of the project. They all share their superpower with the story‘s protagonist.

This graphic novel is a collective experience of living through war.
