Description
It is one of the two rarest ornament compositions that neighbours with still life sketch: pastel-pink tulips in composition on a black background.
The artist exhibits the unequal shape of petals and the different number of leaves, yet, the general pattern of ornament and the principle of its “growth” is self-explanatory: the flowers entwine in a counter diagonal move.
The black background creates an effect of illuminating the flowers and emphasizes the feeling of their vulnerability.
